One month ago, Siobhan Smythe was roasting marshmallows with Kara Zor-El. Now, she and the NYPD are about to be roasted by the Lost Daughter of Krypton who now wields a Red Lantern ring fueled by rage. Siobhan is forced to become Silver Banshee to save New York from Supergirl's wrath. Siobhan is doing her best to maintain control of the magic within her during combat as Kara gives in to her anger and angst. It looks as though both ladies must battle their own personal demons while fighting each other.

While Supergirl and Silver Banshee duke it out, Doctor Veritas is trying to contain the escaping Blaze, Lobo has found information on his impostor's whereabouts thanks to his data dagger, and Siobhan's new roommate Alexa makes a phone call to a friend that may imply she knows about Silver Banshee. In the Meantime, as the Catskills are ablaze like New York was, the aforementioned Banshee discovers that Kara's wrath is directed at what happened to Krypton. Siobhan convinces the Maid of Might that whoever destroyed her home planet is out there in space and not on Earth. The Red Lantern Supergirl flies off in search of those responsible. We'll learn more of this in Green Lantern/Red Lanterns Flip Book #28.

The planet Kaarth is being invaded by marauding aliens in search of the Worthy. The inhabitants simply die at the soldiers' feet. Yet, the extraterrestrial commander is confident that he and his army will find what they seek somewhere in the universe on this world or the next even if it means they must commit genocide wherever they go.

5Story - 5: There isn't enough praise for what Tony Bedard does in this issue and his entire run so far. I look forward to this series every month thanks to his writing. The return of Silver Banshee was especially well done. A lot happens in this book, and it'll leave the reader impatient for more. At least, that's what happened to me. "Red Daughter of Krypton" is off to a great start with a pace that is faster than a speeding bullet.

5Art - 5: Yildiray Cinar continues to give us images that leap off the page. He's one of the best artists on this titles, perhaps even one of the best drawing for DC and the New 52.

5Cover Art - 5: This cover prepares us for the wild thrill ride going on inside. Amazing work by Giuseppe Camuncoli.
