I love Smallville. Been watching it from the beginning. I love the Superman character. Tom Welling & Erica Durance are my "Lois & Clark"..... Batman might be cool, but Superman is the best...nuff said! |

To be honest, I've taken to ff through the episodes until Clark is on screen. I just find the glacial pace of his transformation maddening. It's the Wheel of Time of superhero shows. I follow it: Because it's Superman. Because Durance does a great Lois. Welling isn't a great actor but, I think, he has great charisma. To see Clark become Superman. |

Supes is my boy and I simply must know how this ends. Plus I can forgive a lot more in a television show than I can in a film or a comic book (given the different kinds of pressures they all must face). Marc Up, up . . . and omigod don't look down!

The Lois & Clark relationship. Seasons 1-8 I had to put up with Lana and clarks on/off relationship, when erica durance joined smallville as Lois I got excited and was hoping for a Lois and Clark romance, can't believe I had to wait until season 9 (seasons 9 &10 have been great), but I'm glad they have had a Lois & Clark relationship on smallville. I'm still hoping for a spin off Lois & Clark show (without Oliver and chloe in it) On a bad note: I don't like all the pointless filler episodes and another thing I don't like is Oliver queen he should've just been in a couple of episodes in season 6 then leave the show and not return ( I'm sure Justin hartley is a great guy but I can't stand Oliver.) "You will give the people of earth an Ideal to strive towards, they'll race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall but in time they will join you in the sun, in time you will help them accomplish wonders"

The reasons are not complicated for me. I watched because it's Superman. |

The reasons are not complicated for me. I watched because it's Superman. You mean Clark Kent. Interestingly, and I'm not being flippant, I stopped watching it because it wasn't Superman (Clark Kent). Easy, miss. I've got you.

I loved the series, yes there were some dull episodes and some massive character turns that were not nessary or wanted. But it was a great series. Just in the UK watched the final and man was it wroth the wait... well only in the fact that it closed Smallville, now I want more Superman!

I liked Smallville for the most part. I loved the first three seasons ( only thing I particularly didn't like was some of the horrible writing they had at times and Lana, who was horribly miscast imho ), the fourth one was a little rocky--even though I loved Lois and she was like a breath of fresh air for after sitting through Lana's scenes, fifth I wasn't too crazy about, sixth and seventh I absolutely loathed, and eighth, nine, and tenth I generally liked ( with the exception of Lana's return during the eighth season as well as a few odd episodes here and there ). It definitely wasn't the best show by any means, but for the most part it was entertaining. I think Smallville got Lex Luthor ( Michael Rosenbaum is my favorite Lex Luthor ), Mr. and Mrs. Kent, Lois, and the suit right ( even though we didn't see him wear it, but at least it was the traditional design ).

10 years! It's hard to believe for 10 years I watched this show and never missed an episode. I enjoyed it greatly. It had that comic book element while exploring new ideas. The relationships was heartfelt. Great show and I'm glad that I got to be a part of as a fan for the last 10 years. |

I keep watching it because I'm actually watching it for the first time. Well, I've seen the first two seasons when I was a kid, but recently I decided to watch the whole series. I got the complete series DVD in June and I'm now on Season 5. It's definitely not the best show in the world, and I wish they got better writers, but other than that, it's still entertaining. |
