Young Justice: Episode Reviews

Season 2 - Episode 15: "War"

Reviewed by: Isaac Frisbie

5Rating - 5 (out of 5): I would give this a higher rating if I could because this is the stuff I have wanted to see all season. We have seen glimpses of it here and there, but we are at the meat of the whole season. And I love it.

Vandal Savage is still loose and still plotting. What he's up to I don't know. He's collaborated somehow with Mongul.

I wish they could have just stretched this storyline out some more. Mongul is a great character. He was disabled in a single episode. But he still was fun to watch. Especially when he easily broke up team Alpha. Really, he and Warworld deserve more than just this episode. So hopefully this isn't the end for him. Even though his appearance was brief, it was written very well and I adore Keith David doing the voice.

I understand the League is out of the picture and is going through the trial, but I would think that the heroes of Earth would have said, "Hey guys, this is stupid how bout we just not stand trial since we technically didn't do this?" a long time ago. They are standing trial for crimes they did not commit. Vandal Savage did. While they sit around he's loose scheming still.

I hope they stretch this battle out a bit more. Since the show has not been renewed (Bravo, DC and Cartoon Network!).

I do love this episode and it looks to be ending well. Here's hoping this show is somehow renewed or we get another great DC animated feature.
