Rose Forrest, better known as Rose and Thorn, has been looking for answers most of her life throughout roughly a thousand years. She doesn't age, or she ages slower than most folks. Plus, she can' help but wonder why superheroes do what they do. Her multiple personality disorder doesn't help. How she fits into the Legion of Super-Heroes timeline is a mystery for she is being pursued by the science police for being deemed a threat to society.

2Story - 2: I want to make one thing clear. I think Brian Michael Bendis is a great writer in spite of his overuse of parenthetical expressions. I hate seeing those in comics. I love what he's done in the core Superman comics. I loved his Marvel work. This story however is a disjointed mess. I lost patience with it around the time Kamandi showed up. I get that Bendis is trying to breath new life into the Legion in the same way he did for the Avengers. However, his story for this issue sincerely needs a defibrillator.

3Art - 3: This is a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth. A Legion book with talent like this should be a big event, and perhaps it is for some. One artist is enough even if all visuals are well done and beautifully rendered.

3Cover Art - 3: It's over-saturated with black or ink. That ruins what could be a beautiful cover.

5Variant Cover Art - 5: The variant is this comic's only saving grace. It's a pity the rest of it couldn't be this good.
