Recently, The Flash has been hesitant in fights with foes for reasons known only to himself. Now, with Wonder Woman a prisoner of the Eradicator, he must run faster than he ever has with the Speed Force. It could even kill him. Yet, he must do so to carry out the Justice League's plan to fight against the Daxamites who follow Superman's old foe. Otherwise, Earth will become a victim of their tyranny.

Madame Xanadu and John Stewart have set the League's plan in to motion. Batman and Superman interrupt the Eradicator's extraction of Wonder Woman's genetic material while Daxamites chase the Flash. This allows Xanadu and Green Lantern to transport the villainous army to another planet, one without a yellow sun to give them power.

5Story - 5: Robert Venditti paces this book a bit differently from Scott Snyder. Yet, he uses the same balance of character moments and action to make his run as equally epic as Snyder's. Normally, it takes a few issue for a new writer on a comic. This is not the case with Venditti on this title. He fired the starter's pistol and let this serial run faster than a Superman and Flash foot race while continuing to make the book the fun experience it has been for quite some time.

5Art - 5: This is a series that shows Lopresti's strengths as an artist. He really excels with the supernatural, outer space and alien planets. His previous work on Greg Pak's "Planet Hulk" is another brilliant example of that. At the current rate he's going he and Venditti will make this book rival that great story and those of the greatest science fiction franchises.

4Cover Art - 4: The cover blurb words are a spoiler and interfere with the quality of this cover's art. At least the logo isn't like the Legion of Super-Heroes one.

5Variant Cover Art - 5: We have a beautiful iconic image here done by an extremely underrated artist.
