Superman and Batman are still in the wild west when Auteur.IO flees to another world. The ground opens up and Superman must rescue the heroes, Batman, Superman, Robin, El Diablo, and the girl from Rann. Auteur.IO unleashes Etrigan and the Demon Horde of Apocalypse on Superman's Metropolis. It is revealed that this is how he destroys unfit worlds. Superman, Batman, and Robin reach Metropolis and must stop the Demon Horde. Lois Lane discovers that Etrigan uses one of the world's weapons against it. Etrigan arrives at the Fortress of Solitude and decides to use an army of Super robots to destroy everything.

5Story - 5: Great story. Yang writes a great Superman. From saving the train of people, to returning to rescue Lois and Jimmy. He just captures Superman's timeless heroism. Including Robin in the story provides a great reminder of the wonder and awe people have when they see Superman in this world. There is a moment when the heroes wonder what to do with a train full of innocents. This leads to a great shirt rip from Superman. The moment is great, and the panel shows the joy Superman gets in helping people.

5Art - 5: Ivan Reis is back. He is fantastic in this issue, and I can't wait to look at his art again. I wonder where he will pop up again when this series ends.

5Cover Art - 5: This cover looks great! Etrigan front and center looks fierce and formidable. I still love the designs for Superman and Batman in this arc.

4Variant Cover Art - 4: There is nothing objectively wrong with the art on this variant. I just subjectively don't care for this style of cover. I like Superman's raised logo design, and he has a very clear cut and young look to him.
