After a rundown of every Crisis in the DC Multiverse, the Great Darkness has taken over Batman. The Justice League Incarnate's only option may be to work with Darkseid, who has taken some of Doctor Multiverse's powers and killed the Dark Knight. However, it isn't enough to defeat the Great Darkness. The armies of the Lord of Apokolips have been decimated, Darkseid himself has literally been stomped by the Great Darkness, and it has taken over the JL Incarnate members who crash landed on Earth-7. Superman, The Flash and the rest of the team who aren't infected will have their hands full trying to defeat the Great Darkness.

4Story - 4: This issue is a vast improvement on the previous ones. It isn't perfect and suffers from editorial missteps. For example, the rundown of all the major DC events should have been in the first issue, and like the rest of this series, this suffers from too many things happening in one issue. This book should have either been a monthly or a twelve issue maxi. Still, it has potential overall. That makes it fun in spite of its flaws.

4Art - 4: The art is very well drawn in spite of some minor flaws here and there. I've stated millions of times that I normally dislike multiple artist on a single issue. However, they work well in this series.

5Cover Art - 5: There are times when dialogue balloons work perfectly on a cover. This is one of those times. I was impatient to see what went on in the book after seeing this one.

5Fornes Variant Cover Art - 5: Finally a JL Incarnate Superman cover. This was long overdue.

5Burnham Variant Cover Art - 5: I really liked how Darkseid was rendered in this one. The detail in his cruelty is amazing.
