  • Supergirl #12 (January)
    Joe Kelly, Ian Churchill, Norm Rapmund
    It's Supergirl vs. the League of Assassins and Batgirl! Cassandra Cain (Terra) arrives to help Supergirl defeat an Empathosaur from the Earth's center. Plus, more on Supergirl's new - and deadly - boyfriend!

  • Supergirl #13 (February)
    Joe Kelly, Ian Churchill, Norm Rapmund
    Waking up from a memory/dream, Supergirl is confronted by Lois Lane who suggests she contact Superman when she figures herself out. Power Boy invites her to go on patrol with him, but the two heroes are attacked by Gakidou and Sakki, who wish to feed on Supergirl's hate. During the fight Supergirl thinks on how she was supposed to kill Kal-El, but pulled back each time she had the opportunity to do so. She hates nobody, but herself, and this hate is even too much for Sakki to consume.

  • Supergirl #14 (April)
    Joe Kelly, Ian Churchill, Norm Rapmund
    While Supergirl and Power Boy's relationship blossoms, Boomer is feeling down and spills his heart out to Cassandra Cain (AKA Batgirl, who is now head of the League of Assassins). Cassandra has been hired to eliminate Supergirl. Kara pays Robin a visit, gathering information on why the Assassins are after her. Kara goes to the LOA's HQ and confronts Batgirl. The two do battle, as Kara discovers Boomer has been tied up as bait. Batgirl gains the edge, before Kryptonian crystals spear forth from Kara's body, impaling Batgirl. Kara calls Power Boy for help.

  • Supergirl #15 (May)

    After sharing a passionate kiss, Supergirl turns her back on Power Boy to go check on Boomer, angering Power Boy who hits her and drags her away to his hideout. He reveals to her that he was a part of Darkseid's plans, but he defected when he laid eyes upon Supergirl and realized they were meant to be together. Supergirl angrily rejects him, lifting his entire complex and throwing it down on him, but he espcapes via a Father Box into space, but Supergirl finds him there, crunching his Father Box in her hand. With the Father Box about to go nova, Supergirl tosses it towards the sun, but it explodes before it gets near the sun...

  • Supergirl #16 (June)
    Joe Kelly & Marc Sable, Alé Garza, Marlo Alquiza
    Supergirl reflects on her life on Earth so far, and remembers her time on Krypton, how her father Zor-El discovered that Phantoms were invading Krypton from the Phantom Zone, angry at Jor-El for sending criminals to their reality. Zor-El experiments on his daughter in an effort to stop the phantoms, but with neither Jor-El or the science council willing to listen to him, Zor-El is forced to send Kara after her cousin Kal-El to kill him, as phantoms have vowed to continue their reign of terror until every member of the House of El is gone.

  • Supergirl #17 (July)
    Joe Kelly, Alé Garza, Marlo Alquiza & Andy Lanning
    Back on Earth after a month Supergirl finds Earth is now under a red sun, and that everyone is possessed by the phantoms. Cassie and Robin both confront Kara, but she knows the phantoms are making them say evil things... her crystals free Robin, who leads her to Kal-El. Finding Superman (dressed in lead), Kara reveals the complete truth to him about the phantoms and how Zor-El sent her to kill him to end the curse, but she refuses to kill her cousin. They vow to find another way to get rid of the phantoms, when another Supergirl arrives, accusing Kara of being a fake.

  • Supergirl #18 (August)
    Joe Kelly, Adam Archer & Alé Garza, Sandra Hope
    The two Supergirls fight, with the newer Supergirl telling Kara that she's a fake and not worthy of the Supergirl name, bringing up all the bad things she's done since coming to Earth. Kara seemingly gives in, allowing the new Supergirl to consume her, but it was all a ploy, and she breaks out from within, revealing the newer Supergirl to actually be Dark Angel, who was sent by one of the Monitors to test if Supergirl was supposed to be part of this universe or not.

  • Notable Issue: Amazons Attack #3 [of 6] (August)

    The JLA protects the nation's heartland, but as panic spreads across the continent, public sentiment turns against the military and the heroes. Frustrated and finding their loyalties torn, Supergirl and Wonder Girl take matters into their own hands, but their solution to the conflict may make things worse!

    An AMAZONS ATTACK tie-in issue guest-starring Supergirl! How far will Cassie and Kara go in the impending battle - and how will their choices affect their relationship with the Titans?

  • Supergirl #19 (September)
    Joe Kelly; Alé Garza; Marla Alquiza, Richard Friend, Sandra Hope and Rich Davis
    Pariah arrives and shows Supergirl the turning points in her life. She flies back to Earth and confronts Boomer who says they're still friends. Next she's confronted by Gracie and the Teen Titans. Then Powergirl. She finally goes to see Superman, and the two reconcile. Even Streaky, her cat, is willing to give her a second chance.

    The battle rages on! Another "country" joins the fight as a new, deadly opponent enters the fray! While Batman and Catwoman devise a plan to get to the bottom of the chaos, Grace - the Outsiders' 6' 6" female powerhouse - is about to be visited by her past. And in the midst of all this, Supergirl and Wonder Girl have betrayed the heroes and armed forces. Their target: the President of the United States!

  • Supergirl #20 (October)
    Tony Bedard, Renato Guedes, Jose Wilson Magalhaes
    Supergirl and Wonder Girl try to save Airforce One, but those within think they're part of the Amazon's attack. In Washington D.C. the army tries to stop an attack from Amazons. When Supergirl flies in to stop the Amazons, she's wounded by a magical arrow. Civillians nearby aren't sure whether or not she's friend or foe. When a giant cyclops joins the fight, Supergirl tries to fight it off, and thanks to the husband of a woman on board Airforce One, she's able to beat the cyclops with the magic arrow he removed from her side. The man later discovers his wife wasn't killed in the Airforce One incident, and Supergirl discovers she's won the people's trust once more... as Superman looks on.

  • Supergirl #21 (November)

    Kara visits the Kents to confide in Jonathan about her actions in regards to the incident with the President's plane. Karate Kid and Una hop onto a train after leaving Mr. Orr [see "Countdown #34"] but their train is derailed by Equus. Supergirl goes to investigate the train wreck. The two Legionnaires are fired upon by police, and Supergirl steps in and takes on the situation... but she passes out when she vaguely remembers having met the two heroes in another time and place.

  • Supergirl #22 (December)
    Tony Bedard, Renato Guedes, Jose Wilson Magalhaes
    Ask Kararte Kid and Una try fight off Equus, Supergirl has a flashback to her time in the 31st Century before rejoining the fight. Mr Orr arrives to take Equus away. Supergirl flies to the Kent Farm where she has a talk with the Kents and Superman. The Teen Titans arrive to invite Supergirl to join their team.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #24 (January)
    Mark Waid, Barry Kitson, Mick Gray
    With the LSH down and out, Jeyra and her team of villains are about to finish them off when Supergirl arrives... but they realize she's bluffing, having no powers under a red sun, and it's only her ability to read Kryptonian, and use museum weapons on the villains, that saves the day. Deciding she's rather stay with the LSH than on Rokyn, Kara and the LSH take a Phantom Zone Projector with them to attempt to release Mon-El from his prison. As they manage to converse with him, Mon-El reveals that a huge armada of villains is about to attack.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #25 (February)
    Mark Waid, Barry Kitson, Mick Gray
    Approaching Earth, the Wanderers isolate members of the LSH, abducting key members to join their ranks to fight the on-coming threat of the Dominators. Unable to free themselves from the containment field they've been trapped in, Brainiac 5 and the other LSH members free Mon-El from the Phantom Zone. Supergirl and Mon-El fight, breaking the barriers surrounding the LSH, but when Mon-El calms down he is taken away by the Wanderers who are lead by Light Lass's brother.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #26 (March)
    Mark Waid, Barry Kitson, Mick Gray
    Supergirl, Lightning Lad, Brainiac 5 and others locate the abducted LSH members in the presence of Mekt, Lightning Lad's brother. Mekt recruited the LSH members for an army under his command to defeat the robot rebellion taking place in Megatokyo. Mon-El, Kara, Lightning Lad and Brainy head to Megatokyo to take out the robots, but find a massive construct rise from the underground and detonate...

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #27 (April)
    Mark Waid, Barry Kitson, Mick Gray
    With the Dominators in control of all of Earth's technology, and with genetically engineered versions of their kind ready to do battle, the Legion find themselves all split up in small groups, unable to contact each other. Brainy tries to create a portal to get the delegates back to their own worlds for help, but the Dominator influence causes that to go all wrong, while Cos, Lightning Lad and Mekt try to hold back the Dominators. As they fall back to a more secure location, Cos is captured by the Dominators.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #28 (May)
    Mark Waid, Barry Kitson, Mick Gray
    The Dominators torture Triplicate Girl into telling them where the LSH is gathering to attack, but her breaking down is all a plan, setting a trap for the Dominators who unwittingly open up their home planet to an attack by the Legion.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #29 (June)
    Tony Bedard, Kevin Sharpe, Mark McKenna
    The Dominator's Combat Technologist recalls how he came to believe that to improve themselves the Dominators had to change, and how an appearance by Booster Gold set them on the path to war. Meanwhile the Legion and Wanderers over run the Dominator home world. Before he is killed by one of his own, the Combat Technologist frees Sun Boy and friends, who reunite with the other Legion members for a final confrontation with the Dominators.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #30 (July)
    Mark Waid, Barry Kitson, Mick Gray & Jimmy Palmiotti
    Having defeated the Dominators, the LSH learn of their ultimate plan to overrun the universe with their genetic improvements. Cos has Brianiac 5 build a bomb which the rest of the Legion think is designed to destroy the entire planet, when in fact it's a Phantom Zone projector designed to remove the entire planet into the Phantom Zone, along with Mon-El, who delivers the bomb planetside as his health fails. Back on Earth the votes start coming in to elect the new leader of the LSH. Three Knights Tempus members from the 41st century come to invite Cos to join them in the future.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #31 (August)
    Tony Bedard, Kevin Sharp, Robin Riggs
    Supergirl wins the vote for the new LSH leader, and is forced to make some quick decisions regarding the UP's investigation into Cosmic Boy's action in defeating the Dominators. With Brainiac 5's help she sets up three teams to go search for Cosmic Boy.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #32 (September)
    Tony Bedard, Dennis Calero, Dennis Calero
    Star Boy, Mekt and Sun Boy go with the UP investigator to try and find Cosmic Boy on his home world. They find no signs of life, and begin to argue with one another. Mekt tells his origin story, while the UP rep is tricked by a couple of kids and is apparently killed. When the three heroes find Mekt's parents, they attacked, as they claim the Lord of Lightning demands he be punished.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #33 (October)
    Tony Bedard, Dennis Calero, Dennis Calero
    Star Boy is injured by Mekt's parents. Mekt and Sun Boy escape. Tenzil Kem, a matter eater, eats his way out of the grain storage unit, and captures the two boys who are about to take Star Boy away. When Mekt confronts Tenzil, he has his finger bitten off, before being arrested by the UP investigator, who has discovered that Mekt and his Wanderers were behind the destruction of the Dominator planet.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #34 (November)
    Tony Bedard, Dennis Calero, Dennis Calero
    Atom Girl, Timber Wolf, and Shadow Lass arrive on the planet Lallor and immediately find themselves in the middle of a civil war battle. They try and speak with the president to allow them to search for Cosmic Boy, but when an old friend in E.R.G is set upon killing the president, the LSH members must stop him.

  • Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #35 (December)
    Tony Bedard, Dennis Calero, Dennis Calero
    E.R.G talks to his brother Randall as he fights Timberwolf, while Atom Girl tries to secure the President. With Shadow Lass down, Atom Girl convinces E.R.G not to listen to his Randall, that she can get him on the Legion team. Atom Girl then confronts Randall in person. Supergirl, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad confront a super-evolved being (who they dub Evolvo-Lad).

Introduction

Here is a listing of the Supergirl monthly title from its introduction in August 2005 right through to its conclusion with issue #67 ahead of the post-Flashpoint relaunch in 2011.

Also listed are the Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes comics from #16 (May 2006) to #36 (November 2007) when the title (originally known as 'Legion of Super-Heroes') changed to include Supergirl as a regular member. The Teen Titans comics from #48 (June 2007) to #55 (March 2008) are also listed as Supergirl became a member of that team for a while. The Writer, Penciller and Inker for each issue are listed within the Comic Index pages, directly below each title's name and number.

Note: Remember, the month dates listed are from the issue covers, not the actual date when the comic was on sale.
