Cyborg explains that before he was Cyborg, he was a good Football player. Many potential colleges praised his athletic ability, but he knew it was much more, he studied film for hours, he said Football is a ballet of 11 players. It was his team that made him good. That was then, now his team is the Justice League. The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern have been transported against their will to separate areas. Batman is lost and Superman is trapped in another Universe. If this war is to be won, the team needs to come back together. The Flash and Red Death, an alternate Flash where Bruce Wayne acquires the speed force, are chasing each other in a cave. Aquaman and his alternate counterpart are battling each other below Amnesty Bay. Wonder Woman and her counterpart are under the foundation of A.R.G.U.S. headquarters. While Green Lantern and Dawnbreaker are fighting below Coast City. If they are to win Cyborg needs to help reunite them, the only problem is he can't, for these Dark Knights have a secret weapon, him.

Simon Baz is up in space performing one of his 5 daily prayers required by his Muslim faith (when in space, which direction faces Mecca?), when he is alerted by a local that trouble is brewing, something big. He flies into space where he encounters a Giant Space Armada that appear to be headed straight to Earth. Back on Earth, an extremely tired Bruce Wayne is awoken by the Justice League emergency signal. Alfred tries to convince Bruce to get some rest, Bruce replies, "Fine, I'll be right back". Bruce is met by Cyborg who says there are three separate events happening, a pair of nuns taken hostage, an Earthquake at Corona Del Mar, and the upcoming invasion that Simon has been tailing. Bruce decides the fleet can wait for a bit as they are still traveling and divides the team into two groups. Jessica Cruz, Flash, and Superman will handled the Earthquake, while Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and himself will rescue the nuns. Cyborg will remain at the base as back up. While dealing with the Earthquake, Jessica is communicating via her ring to Baz, he tells her he has tried hailing the Armada to no avail. Simon says maybe he should give them a warning shot, Jessica disagrees and says, "Perhaps I should ask the Bat and get back to you". Meanwhile Superman is seen holding up debris allowing civilians to escape and Flash is shown running around rescuing others. A disguised Wonder Woman is surveying the streets outside of the building where the nuns are being held captive, while a disguised Aquaman is driving a bus filled with Bruce and other civilians. Wonder Woman informs them that the FBI is about to breach the building when a little girl runs out in front of the bus forcing Aquaman to swerve and collide into another vehicle. While Aquaman and the other driver are arguing, a bright flash appears and takes Aquaman away, Cyborg tells him he needs to join the others at the Earthquake site as a dozen or so large fish have beached themselves. Batman replies, "You didn't tell me the earthquake was at a sea port", Cyborg replies, "I did tell you it was at Corona Del Mar which means Crown of the Sea". Batman tells Cyborg, "Good call, of course Aquaman should join the others, and the A team should head into space to join Baz". During this conversation the FBI breach the building with Flash Bang canisters, but one went off close to one of the nuns' oxygen tank causing an explosion killing one of the nuns. Another Earthquake hits out at sea leaving just the Flash and Aquaman to deal with the Tsunami. Superman, Cyborg and Jessica are flying into space and meet up with Simon Baz to face the third threat of the day, the space armada. As soon as our heroes arrive, the space fleet turns around and heads back out to space, turns out it was not an invasion but a "tour bus" of sorts that just made a "wrong turn". The next day at Wayne manor Clark is talking with Bruce about the previous day. Bruce said he blew it, he was "dead on his feet" and because of this he lost a nun and nearly drowned half a million people. Clark says, "You don't have to be involved in everything. It's okay to pass the ball, we'll manage without you". Bruce replies, "Maybe you should".

The League is still under scrutiny, now with a murder charge in the mix. Congress is questioning Superman about the League's recent actions and asks, "How do you subpoena a wrath?" Superman tries to reassure them that the League is made up of men and women of good will who choose anonymity out of an abundance of caution. After a brief backstory we are introduced to The Fan, a man who idolizes the Justice League. Probably the person who impersonated Batman last issue, and the one who takes Simon Baz off the playing field this issue. He is also able to infiltrate the Watchtower's system before Cyborg realizes what was going on. Disguised as a Green Lantern, The Fan goes to a local TV station and attempts to interrupt a broadcast of two people arguing over the recent actions of the Justice League. It was a setup as Aquaman and Wonder Woman reveal themselves to be the host and guest and the League take out The Fan. The League asks themselves what to do with him as he knows too much about them, and can never be allowed to testify when the League starts to be beamed away. The Fan lies on the ground laughing.

With Batman taking a leave of absence from Justice League proper, he has more time to spend with his makeshift team, the Justice League of America. When the team comes across a derailed train with biochemical possibilities, Batman selfs doubts his and his team's ability to handle the problem and makes a call to the Justice League. Cyborg appears in front of the House of Representatives and is shown no respect, as they ask for Superman or Batman, he informs them he is the chairman of the League at the moment. He is introduced to his lawyer and invites her up to the Watchtower to meet everyone. JÕonn J'onzz meets with Jessica, who is really regretting her decision to kiss Batman (see last issue), and tells her he has need for her and Baz elsewhere. The Justice League help Batman with the train, by saving the city but in the meantime putting the rural areas and farmlands in peril. Public outcry is at an all-time high as people are starting to question the League's every decision. Vic gets a call from someone concerned that the League is putting their homes in danger. He tells him he will be right down leaving the lawyer alone on the Watchtower. She then pulls out a weapon and says, "Let's get on with it".

Tensions are mounting. The riot squad has been called out as the townsfolk from "the other side of the tracks" are upset that EMT and first responders are all on the "rich" side of town. Cyborg tries to rally the two leagues to help but Superman tells him it's time to leave. On the Watchtower the "Lawyer" is up to no good when she runs into Aquaman. She informs him that life support, communications and propulsions are all down and all escape pods have been deployed. The Watchtower is going down and with it "the other Justice League" (of America). Arthur asks her who she is and she replies "We're your fans". As she teleports away, both Justice League teams teleport in. After a quick debriefing of the current state of the Watchtower, the two teams try to figure out a way out of their current predicament. Frost figures out that this was a trap to kill off the "B league" while the heavy hitters survive. Cyborg finally comes up with a plan that might get them all out of this mess. It will take both teams working together, as the Watchtower continues to plummet towards Earth.

The Green Lanterns (and I am pretty sure it is all of them) are at the source wall trying to close the tear left behind from the end of the "Metal" story. When Hal gets a distress call telling him Earth is about to be destroyed. Back on the remains of Brainiac's ship, which is speeding away from what used to be Colu and headed to Earth, the heroes and villains attempt to stop what they couldn't before learning that all the worlds that were stored in Colu's nursery are returning back to their natural sizes. Vril Dox teleports to Earth to accelerate the seed's growth to speed up Earth's fate of being destroyed. Amanda Waller, who downloaded all of Brainiac's knowledge, allows Cyborg to download the information in an attempt to create a plan to stop Earth from sharing the same fate of Colu. The solution? Harvest one of these seeds and supercharge it so the Omega Titans are concentrating on it instead of Earth. Diana charges the seed with wonder, Martian Manhunter charges the seed with mystery, Cyborg charges it with wisdom, which leaves entropy. After Deathstroke fails to charge it Lex Luthor takes it and charges it. With a fully charged seed, they fire the seed into the Entropy Titan and the other Omega Titans feed on him getting their full and leaving Earth alone. In the aftermath Luthor tells J'onn that the Earth is tipped toward entropy not justice and that he needs to prepare and suggests to J'onn he does the same. Batman tells Black Lightning that with Amanda Waller's new information at her disposal, they need a team who can keep them covered from the outside. Impressed by the way Oliver Queen handled Waller, J'onn gives Ollie the key to stopping the Justice League if they ever go too far. The three new Justice League teams are introduced...

They are using Earth's moon's iron molten iron ring like a cyclotron to eject the surface from the planet. J'onn J'onzz detonates explosives from within the satellite when he senses it coming. The Totality, living energy leaked from the Source Wall, is coming in three minutes or less. Green Lantern John Stewart has a Tenth Metal bullet containing an omniversal wormhole ready. However it and the Justice League may not be enough to stop its arrival. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor has killed Vandal Savage and brought together the Legion of Doom. This issue literally starts out with a bang as Lex Luthor blows up Chapter 3675 of the Kansas West Legionnaires Club. Meanwhile, Swamp Thing is helping Batman contact Green Lantern John Stewart. They need his help with the Totality. Hal Jordan is dealing with the Source Wall, and the rest of the team must battle Killer Croc, who was mutated into an oxidized Kryptonite spewing refugee from Jurassic Park. The Flash's Speed Force powers cut out on him in the middle of the fight. However, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and Batman are able to defeat Croc. Yet, the Justice League will need to take action against the Totality. Without John Stewart to aid them, they'll most certainly have their work cut out for them. As the Justice League tries to figure out a strategy for the Totality, Lex Luthor's Legion of Doom is plotting to control seven hidden forces in the universe including the Speed and Still Forces, the latter of which is used by the Flash's old foe Turtle to prevent the Scarlet Speedster from running. Sinestro, in the meantime, has unlocked the invisible emotional spectrum, and he's using it to capture John Stewart. The Justice League is definitely going to need to plan for so much more if a Green Lantern like John Stewart has been taken prisoner. With Batman and Hawkgirl miniaturized in special vehicles inside the cells of an armored Superman and Martian Manhunter for extra protection, the Justice League is ready to confront the giant face in the Nevada Desert that is the Totality. Unbeknownst to the extraterrestrial superheroes, Lex Luthor is hidden in a celaphic vein. The rest of the Justice League may not be able assist their allies. A new group called the Ultraviolet Corps invades the Hall of Justice, and among their numbers is none other than John Stewart.

Aquaman, The Flash and Wonder Woman must battle the Ultraviolet Corp's newest soldier John Stewart. He's trying to get the darkest parts of his Justice League allies' souls to come out into the open. The timely arrival of Cyborg prevents this from happening with irradiated ozone. Meanwhile, as Superman and Martian Manhunter fight devolved creatures in the Totality, Batman and Hawkgirl must take on mutagen clusters within the extraterrestrial superheroes' bodies. A white dwarf pulse allows Hawkgirl to proceed within J'onn J'onzz, yet, as the Caped Crusader points out, there could be many unforeseen dangers, ones for which he, Hawkgirl and Lex Luthor, who is hidden in Superman's cells, must prepare. The Invisible Spectrum and the Still Force are among six hidden forces in the universe. The destruction of the Source Wall brought them out of their cosmic stasis. John Stewart, now back to his normal self, is intent on preventing Sinestro from feeding planets to a sentient black sun called Umbrax from a living phantom galaxy. The Flash is able to pinpoint it in a toxic part of the ocean where nobody and nothing can live called the Nowhere Zone. The Justice League will need to get nowhere fast if they are to stop Umbrax. Things don't look good for the Justice League. Wonder Woman, Aquaman and The Flash are being attacked by primitive White Martians in Atlantis. Martian Manhunter is being attacked telepathically by beings much like those who were trapped on the Source Wall. Lex Luthor's about to bring his plan into fruition thanks to the Joker being hidden in J'onn, blocking communications with Batman. Luthor may very well succeed in destroying Superman and Martian Manhunter. Sinestro has shown John Stewart a hidden truth that could set the universe asunder. Umbrax and the Invisible Spectrum are drawn to worlds with the darkest, most self-destructive energies, and this time, they've come for Earth.

This chapter begins with Gorilla Grodd's childhood in Gorilla City, how he knew he was different from his father, how he proved it, and so on. Meanwhile there are battles on two fronts in the Totality. One within the bodies of Superman and Martian Manhunter, and another between said alien superheroes and some extremely powerful giants. Batman and Hawkgirl are being bested while navigating the cells of their comrades, with the Joker wanted to decapitate the latter. While the Caped Crusader plans his next move, a darkness consumes as Lex Luthor is a step closer to victory. With Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, Batman and Superman possibly out of the picture, the Justice League will most likely have their work cut out for them if they are to stop the Totality. Old foes reunite to settle old scores as Martian Manhunter is attacked by a Luthor-possessed Superman while revealing what really killed his people. Sinestro has fused John Stewart with the ultraviolet spectrum while Wonder Woman, The Flash and Aquaman face Cheetah, Black Manta and Gorilla Grodd in the Pacific Ocean's Veracity Point. Grodd has a baby with him who is revealed to be the Turtle, wielder of the Still Force. With the Justice League in possession of the Totality, Martian Manhunter has scanned Starman's mind. Lex Luthor traveled through time to find him, experiment on him and torture him to get answers on how he could possess the Totality's energy. Meanwhile Black Manta and Cheetah kill Captain Proteus perhaps around the same moment that Lex is conversing with the Batman Who Laughs. The mad Joker/Dark Knight amalgam tells Luthor what he needs to know in an insane, almost riddle-like manner. What he tells Lex could mean a new beginning for the multiverse, but it could also totally obliterate it. The Source Wall was meant to keep dark forces from obtaining ultimate power. Now, it no longer exits. The Totality, the Still Force and the Ultraviolet Light are keys to everything that's going on. Yet, a woman named Perpetua seeks these elements and so much more to gain domination of the multiverse. Both the Justice League and the Legion of Doom will need everything at their disposal if they are to find this omnipotent woman and learn her true intentions. A fortnight will pass.
