Apokolips
Apokolips is hell incarnate. Dark, polluted, and deadly are just three of many bad adjectives one can use to describe Apokolips. Apokolips is the huge, desolate ball of matter wrapped in machinery coating a great portion of its surface. Also characteristic are the massive Energy Pits which supply the planet's light and power.Chief among its locales is Darkseid's Tower of Rage, which is shaped in the image of The Evil One. Granny Goodness's Happiness Home provides all the loving and care needed to create violent, ruthless, merciless Dog Soldiers. And Armagetto is the citylike community which houses the Hunger Dogs, unfortunate souls who feed the gigantic Energy Pits, and are used as fodder for Darkseid and his minions.

Introduction
This is a listing of many of the notable characters and a few places that have appeared in the Superman comics from the 1986 revamp up until around 2008.NOTE: A new, and more current version of the Who's Who is currently being worked on and can be accessed by clicking here.
Although Superman often appears in other DC Comics, this text's information is limited mainly to what has occurred in the regular Superman comics.
