January 31, 2002: "Smallville" in SciFi and Wizard Magazines

KryptonSite reports that both SciFi and Wizard magazines have "Smallville" article in their latest issues.

Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, and Michael Rosenbaum appear on the cover of the latest issue of SciFi magazine, while inside there is an indepth 6-page article.

Highlights include Michael Rosenbaum discussing the "Smallville" TV Guide covers, John Schneider talking about his role as Jonathan Kent, "The only thing I really know about Jonathan [prior to Smallville] is that he died early in the movie. So if that were what I got to do, I'd say, well, it feels kind of crummy. [However,] if the show runs 20 years, we will not get to that point. Emphysema will not appear [laughs]. It's in the contract, no emphysema will be mentioned in any way, shape or form. That's not quite true..." Also included in the article are comments by John Glover (Lionel Luthor), "...With Lionel, I see him as really having to teach Lex life lessons. I'm sometimes surprised when people have seen the show and talk about how evil and bad I am [laughs]. They don't understand I'm just trying to teach my son a lesson about life. It's just the lessons are very difficult and complicated, and he can't always firgure them out."

While in Wizard magazine's latest issue there is a feature on "Smallville", including a photo of Tom and Kristin on the corner of the cover.
