Two street performers, Hocus & Pocus are performing on a side street when Felix Faust & the Super Friends crash into them.
Previously, Hocus & Pocus were the world's worst magicians but suddenly, after meeting the Super Friends, Hocus has mastery of the mystic arts! A trick to make a rabbit pop out of a hat results in the city being overrun with cheeky little bunnies!
With Felix Faust escaping, suddenly the multiplying rabbits are a big problem for Superman and his friends. Using all their formidable skills the team are able to round up the rabbits and go back to trying to find Faust. The amateur magician's new found skills haven't gone unnoticed by the local layabouts and they plot to use Hocus & Pocus for their own evil gain.
Cornering the duo they trick them into a bank with a ploy to surprise a friend. The magicians fall for it and are tricked into aiding a robbery, but as they realize they've been played, they call for help with an awesome display of fireworks! It works and the Super Friends save the day! But as Hocus & Pocus leave they are cornered by Felix Faust!
It turns out that earlier in the day Felix lost his Gem of Ibis when he had crashed into the street performers, but despite his threats Hocus & Pocus refuse to back down - particularly as they don't know where the gem is! They call upon the Super Friends and aid in the fight against Faust before the villain accidentally turns himself into a frog!
The mystery of the gem eludes them until Pocus realizes one of the stray bunnies had it all along!
They promptly turn the gem over and so the magical mishaps end!

Story - 5: A nice story that has a different heroic perspective. Not often that the main cast are given the back seat and this shows their influence even when they aren't the driving force. Even rarer when the story has magic bunnies!
Art - 5: Magic bunnies taking over the world!
It's all about the bunnies!
Cover Art - 5: Eye catching, exuding fun, the color scheme is very warm, appealing and shows DC can still do entertaining classic stories!
