It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a musical dance number! The Man of Steel flies into a campy 60's musical comedy spoof filled with over-the-top characters, funny dialogue, and colorful comic book mayhem! A reporter is out to uncover Superman's identity, a girl is trying to steal him away from Lois Lane, and an evil mad scientist is trying to take over the universe. What is Superman to do? Save the WORLD... of course! Featuring a score from Strouse and Adams (the composers of "Bye, Bye Birdie" and "Annie") with showstoppers like "You've Got Possibilities," "Pow, Bam, Zonk!," " The Strongest Man in the World," "It's Super Nice," "Ohh, Do You Love You," and "So Long, Big Guy." Dash to the nearest phone booth and call for tickets today! Directed by Mindy B. Young. Music Direction by Jeremy Showgren.
