February 2, 2016: "Rebirth" Rumor Round-Up - Superman Titles Ending?

Rebirth You may recall that late in January DC Entertainment co-publishers Jim Lee and Dan Didio tweeted an image of a blue curtain with the word "Rebirth" across it, which lead to the speculation that DC Comics is set to once again reset/relaunch its comic book titles with new No. 1s in June.

BleedingCool.com has published a series of new articles which collect together new rumors surrounding this upcoming event... and Superman comic books are heavily involved.

Rumors are that we will see a number of canceled titles, then the "Rebirth" event itself, with new #1s to follow for the books that survive the cull.

Reportedly, both "Batman/Superman" and "Superman/Wonder Woman" are set to conclude ahead of June. However, the three heroes are said to be teaming up for a new book titled "Trinity", which will be released twice a month.

While we lose two Superman titles, word is that two new Superman books will fill the void... "Man of Steel" and "The Super Man".

Peter Tomasi is rumored to be the new writer taking over the relaunched "Superman" title, which could also be a bi-weekly or twice-a-month book.

We will let you know when DC Comics officially announces the "Rebirth" details.
