December 16, 2004: Chuck Austen Leaves “Action Comics”
The March 2005 DC Comics Solicitations confirm what many fans have suspected... Chuck Austen is no longer writer of "Action Comics".January's "Action Comics #823" will be Austen's final issue, with J.D. Finn taking over as writer in February and March, and then April sees Judd Winick writing part one of a three part saga called "Lightning Strikes".
We're unable to find any details on J.D. Finn. Nobody seems to know what else he/she has worked on, and many fans are speculating at a pseudonym.
