November 5, 2001: A Possible Smallville DVD Release?
World's Finest News reports that due to the success of "Smallville", rumor has it that Warner Bros. are seriously considering a DVD/VHS release of the put-together 2-hour "movie" made-up of the Pilot Episode and the season's second episode "Metamorphosis"... the same repeat showing that aired on the weekend of October 26-28.This wouldn't be the first time the WB have released a "movie" video of a popular series. WB has done it twice to "Superman: The Animated Series" (Last Son of Kyrpton, World's Finest).
We'll get this rumor confirmed or denied for you as soon as possible.
