January 17, 2007: Smallville Season Five Premium Trading Cards from Inkworks

Inkworks announces the release of SMALLVILLE: SEASON FIVE PREMIUM TRADING CARDS featuring the fifth season of The CW Network's hit series, Smallville. Smallville weaves a blend of realism and adventure into this live-action TV series based on the Superman mythology. This new interpretation of the Superman legend follows a young Clark Kent and his friends as he learns to master his secret powers and figure out his destiny. Tom Welling plays the young Clark Kent, along with Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk), and Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). Smallville airs on Thursdays at 8:00 PM (7:00 Central) on CW.

Developed through a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Comics, the Season Five release features a comprehensive 90-card set based on Clark's transition from boyhood to an adult, plus several different levels of randomly inserted bonus cards including:
