July 12, 2007: Galactic Guardians Coming to DVD
TVShowsonDVD.com has revealed that Warner Home Video is set to release yet another Super Friends series on DVD, with the October 23rd scheduled release of "The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians" from 1985.
- This series unites Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Superman, Firestorm and new recruit Cyborg, now showcased in a two-disc compilation of fiendish plots, amazing rescues and incredible adventures! Larger-than-life heroes face-off against the evil ruler Darkseid and masterminds Lex Luthor, Joker and Penguin in one memorable showdown after another!

In other cartoon DVD news, it's worth noting that the Aquaman segments of the "Superman Aquaman Hour of Adventure" from 1967 is also being released on DVD soon, which suggests that the 1967 Superman cartoons may be coming soon as well.
