The two converse, and a year later during another of their meetings Damian and Jon are dropped outside their door. The two boys are quickly captured and analyzed by the villains who discover the boys are from the future.

With the Super Sons captured Faust and Savage are reviewing their memories and trying to determine how best to use this information. They leave Faust’s slave Rora to clean up and watch the boys. In the night Jon and Damian break free from their restraints and attempt to flee. While flying away from the village they run into a magic barrier. Beyond them a giant monster lumbers forwards, preparing to attack. The fight is very one sided, with the magic of the monster neutralizing the powers is Jon. Faust’s slave, Rora, comes and attacks the beast, freeing the two boys on the condition that they take her to the future with them.

The two boys are rescuing Hawkgirl from a cloud of gas emitted by a sarcophagus. Superboy holds it in his lungs until they can release it into a green balloon, he refuses to release in the air for fear of the birds being hurt. They bicker over what happened and travel back home to find Rora. When they get there they are confronted by Savage.

Superboy and Robin confront Savage while he has a knife to Rora's throat. He wants them to give him the Doom Scroll. Superboy tries to melt the knife, but it is made of Nth metal, man that stuff is everywhere! Superboy then goes into a speech about good and heroism prevailing, Robin distracts Savage and the two boys bicker. Robin reveals his plan to use the Egyptian poison gas on Savage after which Superboy attacks. Robin grabs Rora and retrieves the Super car, driving it right into Savage who subsequently disappears. Before they can look for him Rora reveals that Cyborg is next on the Doom Scroll.

Superboy and Robin enter Cyborg's mindscape through VR machines. They are confronted by Grid who wants to erase Cyborg's consciousness and take over. Superboy and Robin are quickly captured by Grid, but Superboy's horse rescues them and gives them time to release a virus that Robin hid in his VR brain. The virus defeats Grid and saves Cyborg. The two fly off to save Aquaman, leaving Cyborg to wonder what happened.

Aquaman is being interviewed by a couple of EMTs about a recent experience he had. He was in the water when a great fear drove him out. It is revealed that Robin released a fear toxin on him to clear him out of the area. With him gone the two Supersons must face the Kraken. The Kraken is about to kill Superboy, when Robin releases the fear toxin on it. This drives the Kraken out of the water where they can catch him in a containment pod. The two surmise that their fathers are next on the list, but are mistaken when the Doom Scroll reveals their combined logos.

"Let's Do the Time Warp Again"

We flashback to Victorian Age England again where Rora has rescued the Super Sons from a monster. She convinces them that she can send them back to the future, but only if they take her with them. While talking a giant troll approaches, reproaching Rora for being in the "enchanted forest" and bringing more people with her. Robin doesn't trust Rora and attacks the troll, to no avail, while Superboy follows Rora's lead. Superboy convinces Robin to trust Rora, and the three enter her tree home, leaving the troll to guard. We then see Faust and Savage watching the interactions through a glass ball. The stress of the alliance is beginning to show and Savage angrily yells at Faust that they don't need anymore plans.

Told from Felix Faust's perspective, this issue takes place in the past. Faust and Savage have misled their slave Rora to believe she can hide the boys in her treehouse in an enchanted forest protected by trolls. Savage brutally dispatches of the trolls, and the two villains confront Rora and the boys in her hideout. Rora has discovered the magic of time travel and is preparing to send the boys back to the future to protect the Justice League. During the fight between the boys and the villains, Rora is captured. Through threatening to kill Rora Savage can incapacitate the boys, and they head out.

"Full Circle"

This story takes place back in Elizabethan England. The boys have been captured and are being tortured by Savage and Faust. Rora returns and uses her magic to rescue them, the magic creatures of Rora's forest disguise themselves as the Justice League, as seen in the boys' memories, they draw the villains out to fight. Rora uses the distraction to describe the Doom Scroll and sends them on their way.

The issue opens up with Savage and Faust reuniting in modern times. Jon and Damian are puzzling over what to do with their own logo on the Doom Scroll. Jon begins to freak out about their imminent deaths, and worrying that they may already be dead. As they argue, Rora arrives to help them destroy the scroll. Her arrival draws Faust and Savage to their location. In the battle they are able to destroy the scroll, ending the issue.

"And in the End..."

Savage and Faust attack the Supersons. The battle is fierce but when Savage grabs Rora the Supersons give up. It's at this moment that the Justice League arrives to save the day. They promptly dispose of Savage and Faust before Superman and Batman take the Supersons home.
